The Walk-in Center is available similar to the crisis line, and provides necessary supports and resources in their safe and confidential location.
It is now available at: 2100 East College Avenue that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Center for Community Resources also provides mobile crisis intervention services for individuals who may be having a mental health crisis. This support is available to anyone in Centre County. Please contact the crisis line at 1-800-643-5432 to request this service 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Columbia Protocol, also known as the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), supports suicide risk assessment through a series of simple, plain-language questions that anyone can ask. The answers help users identify whether someone is at risk for suicide, assess the severity and immediacy of that risk, and gauge the level of support that the person needs.

Jana Marie Foundation harnesses the power of creative expression and dialogue to spark conversations, build connections, and promote mental well-being among young people and their communities. The organization offers suicide prevention trainings including Mental Health First Aid (youth, high education, and adult modules) and QPR Suicide Prevention Training. In addition, the organization provides a Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group to the community free of charge.
