The purpose of the MHCC webpage is to provide resources and inform the Centre County community about available help.
We have big plans for 2023 and we want to make sure that as many people as possible know about our website, so that if someone’s struggling, they always know there’s somewhere they can turn to get their questions answered, and find help. Our new logo will help us promote the website through our social media pages, as well as t-shirts, flyers, posters, postcards, magnets, and other promotional materials that will be given out to Centre County citizens to help raise awareness about the committee and our work.
We want to invite community members to get involved in our project by submitting to our logo design competition. All Centre County residents are eligible to enter between now and March 22, 2023 by sending hand-drawn or digitally designed logos to us. People of all ages, abilities, and skill levels are encouraged to enter either hand drawn or digitally designed logos. We want to involve as many people as possible, to help us paint a picture of what mental health means to us as a community. We will choose a contest winner, who will receive $100, and we will also offer runner-up prizes sponsored by Tait Farms, Smith + Front, and Discovery Space for designs we think are outstanding. All winners will be announced on the committee’s social media pages and recognized on the website, and will also be contacted directly.
